An incredibly dynamic, and exciting, young prospect, Justin has the world at his feet. A tough competitor with lights out perimeter shooting who will also do the interior work on the boards. Able to dominate and take games away from opponents, this young man is going somewhere, given the right support and opportunities.

As one of 6 children, Justin is an example and leader to many. He exemplifies in every way the values espoused by RedRoo sports and it is our honour to support him on his journey. Justin’s greatest desire is to use basketball as a vehicle to get an outstanding education that will assist him sustain his family, and lead them in a positive direction.

Justin has recently signed with the DCC Buccaneers.
Dawson Coach Joe Peterson shared, “We are elated to get another high character guy with a great work ethic! Justin can score inside and out, rebounds very well and is an excellent passer as well. He is a versatile big with a high basketball IQ. I’m excited to see his development and how well he will produce next year.”
Asi has played for the Red Roos, Pakenham Warriors and Dandenong Rangers during his teenage years. His current statistics with the Rangers are 19.2 ppg, 8.8 rpg, 3 apg, 3 spg and 2 bpg. He has helped his teams to a lot of success including the Warragul Basketball Tournament Champions, 16U SSNBA National Tournament Champions where he was named MVP, 18U AAU Spring Madness National Champions, 21U AAU Spring Madness National Champions, Eltham Dandenong Australian Day Tournament Champions. He was also selected as the Player of the Month for the Dandenong Rangers earlier this year.

Justin Asi has been named to the Mon-Dak All Conference Men’s Basketball Team. He has had a standout season, averaging 14.7 points and 6.4 rebounds per game with impressive shooting percentages. He ranked in the top 10 in the conference for scoring, field goals, offensive rebounds, and steals, showcasing his versatility. See the full report
