Teny Puot
LEADING THE WAY
Melbourne’s Teny Puot visibly supported the improvement of the South Sudanese National basketball in the recent round of 2023 World Cup Qualifiers.
Selected to don his familiar no. 0 jersey in pursuit of a 2023 World Cup berth, Puot unfortunately injured his elbow in the lead up.
PLAYERS
Michael Jok
Settling in to life in D2 after transferring from JUCO is exactly the challenging experience Michael Jok anticipated.Any notion that his on-court success, exposure to leadership, or scholarship offer would create a soft landing were blown out playing limited minutes in the first games of the new season. “It’s definitely tough to go from top performer to being at the bottom of the pile again,” said Jok. “I worked hard at Dawson to establish myself and that resulted in me receiving the Minot State scholarship. But that’s just the beginning.
